Join us on a Medieval treasure trail in the Castle Keep – Norwich Castle is filled with fascinating historical objects and hidden treasure – as you walk around the Castle Keep, find the clues, unlock the keys and see objects in detail, animated and brought to life. Gateway to Medieval England is a four year project that will reinstate the Norman floors and rooms in the Castle Keep, due to open in 2020, bringing to life of Europe’s most important medieval buildings. At Norwich Castle we are always exploring ways for us to share the fabulous collections on display, we are still developing ideas and have developed this app so we can identify ways in which you want to learn, engage and communicate with us using technology. This version is a taster app – we have picked a few highlights of the collections for you to find using the keys in the display to see them digitally remodelled in detail with further layers of information and content – unlock all the keys to see a special view of Norwich and the Castle in the 12th century.
